Mangaluru: FMCI celebrates feast of St Joachim and St Anne in grandeur

Mangaluru, Jul 26: Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI) celebrated the feast of St Joachim and St Anne, Patrons of the Institution on Thursday, July 26, at St Joseph Chapel.

The Eucharistic celebration was officiated by Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, director of St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor as well as former administrator of Father Muller Homeopathy Medical College and Hospital.

In his homily, Fr Wilfred exhorted that we are not called to be successful, but to be faithful. “St Joachim and St Anne have been an inspiration to all of us to be faithful witnesses to the Lord. We need to strive to find the real success, which can be found in God alone. The one who endures to the end will be saved,” he said.

Msgr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop-elect of Mangaluru Diocese, Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, other priests in the management, chaplains and guest priests were present and concelebrated the mass.
