Mangaluru: District Working Journalists’ Association observe ‘Press Day’

Mangaluru Jul 3: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated Press Day celebrations at press club, Ladyhill on Monday, Jul 2, organized by District Working Journalists’ Association.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, "Through media, journalists got freedom to make the society to fight for justice. Earlier, photo journalists had various challenges, but at present it has become easy after whatsapp and facebook came into existence. For the sake of TRP, TV media is losing the trust of people.”

Journalist Manohar Prasad said, “Our words should reach the people and make people understand in a right way. We should prefer positive reporting and make the society aware of its responsibility.”

President of District Working Journalists’ Union Jagannath Shetty Bala, Srinivas Indaje, and Khader Shah were present.
