Mangaluru: Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy invites applications for MA course in Tulu

Mangaluru, Jul 3: Karanataka Tulu Sahitya Academy after its unceasing efforts has invited applications from students for MA Tulu course in Mangalore University. It will be conducted as evening course for the convenience of employed at University College, Hampankatta. The academy has requested interested students to make use of the facility.

The course will be equivalent to MA Kannada and other Social Science courses. Those who are looking for jobs will benefit out of it. There is already a scarcity of teachers holding degrees to teach Tulu. Therefore, those who undergo the course have a bright future.

The course includes the antiquity of Tulu language and culture, devotion of Tuluvas, Tulu script, their way of cultivation and trade practices. The course enables to know briefly the Tulu community.

Therefore, the academy asked those who are interested to join the course and to obtain in depth knowledge of Tulu language and culture. Degree holders in any subject are eligible to join the course.

The application forms and prospectus of the course can be obtained at Mangaluru university administrative office, Mangalagangotri, Konaje or University College, Hampankatta.
