Bantwal, Jul 2: The KSRTC ticket checking point cabin that was installed at the B C Road service bus stand was demolished using JCB on the night of June 30. However, the chief officer said they do not have information as to who ordered the demolition of this cabin.

The chief officer also informed that as soon as the information of the demolition was received, the town municipality engineer was instructed to visit the site and conduct the investigation. Accordingly, the concerned engineer has registered a complaint with the police.

Police, who arrived at the spot, confiscated the JCB that was used to demolish the cabin. However, they said that they did not register a complaint as per the instructions of the engineer as he felt that the confiscation of JCB is enough.

This ticket checking point was built by the town municipality in 2012 and the same was given on rent. It is not clear whether it was given under the conditions of auction or not.

Very funny.when officials hear that cabin was demolished ,then they send a engineer to control instead of self officials to control.A police complaint was enough to control. With JCB to demolish, someone must have thought there is money or treasure inside? And noone saw it during demolishing? It is a busy street, with lot of cars, buses passing and noone saw?
