Mangaluru: House crashes to ground at Ullal - one injured

Mangaluru, Jun 28: In an incident which took place at Kerebail in 23rd ward of Ullal municipality late night on Wednesday June 27, a woman suffered injuries.

The injured person was Sharada (50). She lived in her now non-existent house with her daughter-in-law and grandson. As soon as the house started to crumble, her daughter-in-law and grandson heard loud noises and succeeded in escaping by running out of the house. Sharada was stuck inside and injured.

Sharada was taken to K S Hegde Hospital at Deralakatte immediately thereafter. The house has fallen like a pack of cards, inflicting loss running into lacs of rupees on the family.
