Panaji, Sep 24: All leading multinational and national as well as assembled information technology and related products will be on display at the 16th edition of the much-awaited Exhibition of Computer and Allied Products (ECAP).
The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday September 27 by Naresh Jain, quality and community evangelist, Directi, Bangalore, and founder vice-chairman, Agile Software Community of India.
The annual exhibition, like its previous editions, has received an overwhelming response from product manufacturers and dealers not only from Goa but also from cities like Bangalore and Mumbai.
The various IT products, from the latest in laptops and accessories to services, desktops, power sources, peripherals, and specialized software applications, as well as information on career-oriented IT training courses, will all be available under one umbrella at this mega event.
Computer Society of India (CSI), Goa chapter, has successfully organized this event for the last 15 years and every year it has received tremendous response from IT professionals, businessmen and entrepreneurs, executives, teachers and students, and the general public.
There will be around 20 exhibitors spread over 28 stalls. The exhibition includes names such as LG, Lenovo, Power Resources, IP Gates, C-Wings/ Sharp, Busy Accounting Software, Acer / Cannon / Delta, Graffitis, Sasha Software Bangalore, CMS Institute, Tally Solutions, Asic Technologies, Rioch., Techser, Pro Imaging, and Quanta Batteries.
An IT directory consisting of all IT vendors in the state of Goa will also be released on the occasion.
The inaugural ceremony will be held in the presence of Prashant Kuncolienkar, chairman, ECAP organizing committee, Vinayak Nayak, chairman, CSI, Goa chapter, Radha Sakordekar, vice-chairperson, CSI, Goa chapter, Ramrao Wagh, secretary, CSI, Goa chapter, and Santosh Kamat, chairman, IT Directing Publishing Committee.
The CSI, Goa chapter, is also celebrating its silver jubilee year of establishment in the state and various programmes are also being organized by CSI to mark this occasion.
