New Delhi, Jun 7 (IANS): Lenovo India on Thursday appointed Amit Doshi as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who will be responsible for driving growth for the brand in India and South Asia across all business segments including consumers, enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) segment.
Doshi will focus on deepening digital and data competencies towards building a more customer-centric organisation and will report to Bhaskar Choudhari, Chief Marketing Officer, Asia-Pacific, Lenovo.
"Amit has played a pivotal role in the Lenovo brand journey over the last five years and understands its pulse," Rahul Agarwal, Managing Director and CEO, Lenovo India, said in a statement.
According to the company, the newly-appointed CMO has played an important role in establishing Lenovo in tablet and smartphone segment, initiating the digital transformation journey and increasing the company's consideration in the personal computer (PC) category.
Prior to joining Lenovo, Doshi was with the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry and Britannia Industries.
