Top priority for development of rural areas in Byndoor constituency: MLA Sukumar Shetty

Byndoor, May 28: “The development of rural areas in Byndoor constituency will be given top priority. Especially, a permanent solution for the drinking water woes of the people,” said newly elected MLA of Byndoor B M Sukumar Shetty here on Sunday, May 27.

He was addressing the gathering at a felicitation function organised by Byndoor Mandal to honour the party supporters of Siddapura, Trasi, Vandse and Kavrady Mahashakti centre following BJP's win in the recently concluded state elections.

“I have won the election due to the hard work of my party workers. I am ever ready to solve the issues pertaining to my constituency,” he said.

On the occasion, the BJP leaders also paid homage to BJP youth activist Puneeth Poojary who died in a road accident in Maravanthe.

Zilla panchayat members K Babu Shetty, Shankara Poojary, Shobha Puthran, Indira Shetty and others were present.

Mandal general secretary Deepak Kumar Shetty welcomed the gathering and Balachandra compered the programme.
