Mangaluru, May 5: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in his second phase of campaign for the upcoming assembly election in the state, will be addressing the general public in the city, Shivamogga, Tumakuru and Gadag districts today.
Modi will be arriving at Tumakuru by helicopter at 11 am and speak at the meeting there for 45 minutes. In his address, he will be seeking votes on behalf of party candidates from Tumakuru, Hassan, and Nelamangala constituencies.
He is scheduled to address rally for the first time at Gadag where elaborate arrangements have been made in 40 acre plot on the ground on Mundaragi road there at 2 pm. This will be his first ever visit to Gadag. He will then fly to Shivamogga. A Prime Minister of the country is visiting Shivamogga for the first time in the last three decades. He will address a huge electioneering meeting at NES ground here at 3 pm, seeking votes for party candidates.
The Prime Minister will take a special flight from Shivamogga to Mangaluru. He will reach the city airport at 6.10 pm and campaign for votes on behalf of BJP candidates in Dakshina Kannada district through an address which will begin at 6.30 pm at Nehru Maidan. He will leave the city at 7.15 pm and take special flight to Bengaluru at 7.45 pm.
