Syska introduces 'smart lights' compatible with Amazon Alexa

New Delhi, May 2 (IANS): Home-grown Syska Group's LED subsidiary on Wednesday introduced its Wi-Fi enabled "smart lights" that re-compatible with Amazon Alexa, allowing users to control the lights using voice commands.

The "smart bulb" connects to the Wi-Fi allowing the user to control every aspect of lighting from their smartphone or tablet from anywhere, the company said in a statemet.

"With the launch of 'smart lights,' new functionalities are constantly added to provide the best voice-controlled lighting experience to our customers like controlling lights with Amazon Alexa," said Gurumukh Uttamchandani, Executive Director, Syska Group.

With the "smart lights," users will be able to choose shades of light from a spectrum of 3 million colours.

They will also have an option of setting alarms for switching on or off the lights.

Apart from syncing the lights with Amazon Echo Dot, Echo or Echo Plus speakers to trigger multiple actions by Alexa, they can also be controlled using Syska's "Smart Home app."
