Mangaluru, Apr 23: One cannot beat MLA Mohiuddin Bava when it comes to grabbing attention. On Monday April 23, Bava, who is the the Congress candidate from Mangaluru North for the Karnataka elections, filed his nomination in a unique manner, by arriving in a bicycle!
Before filing the nomination, Bava held a public meeting at Urwa Store market ground. Prior to that, he visited Sacred Heart Church, Suratkal, and also the Shree Guru Amba Mahamaya Temple and Juma Masjid mosque at Hosabettu.
Flanked by supporters, he then arrived at Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) riding a bicycle.
Speaking to reporters, Bava said, "I am thankful to the voters of my constituency for standing with me during my entire term of five years. I have put in all my efforts into developing my constituency, and I was able to bring a record amount of funds to Mangaluru North. People of my constituency know this very well.
"I am cent percent sure of winning this election too. I have many more plans to develop my region and I hope people will give me another five years to accomplish them. I am also thankful to the media and party workers who stood with me in my difficult times," he said.
