Mumbai, Apr 13: Bharath Bank shifted its Chinchwad branch to the ground floor of Empire estate, Chinchwad, Pune on April 12.
National Billavara Maha Mandala president and Bharath Bank executive president Jaya C Suvarna untied the ribbon and inaugurated the branch. Billavara Association Pune Chinchwad president S T Salian and Bantara Sangha Pune Chinchwad president Mahesh Hegde lit the lamp. Bank's vice president, advocate Rohini J Salian, bank's director Chandrashekar S Poojary and CEO and managing director C R Mulki set in motion ATM services, safe locker and computer services respectively.
Advocate Appu Moolya said that the bank deserves to be a member of the World Bank. The bank had opened its 88th branch at the previous location at Chinchwad on March 5, 2012.
Ullooru Shekhar Shanti and Ullooru Dinesh Shanti performed Vastu Pooje, Ganahoma, Satyanarayana puja and other rituals. Gangadhar Kalladi distributed teertha prasad. Ganesh Anchan and Shakuntala Ganesh were in charge of the pujas.
The bank's director presented flower bouquets to the bank's senior officials Sunil A Gujaran, Vijay Palan, bank staff Anil V Poojary, Sudhir T Kumar, Mohan K Pawar, Sudhaker Poojary, Tanvi Anchan, Sooraj Derker and Ashwith Poojary. Mohandas Hejmady, DGM, introduced the guests and compered the programme.
