Bantwal: Moral policing - Two youngsters bashed for going to picnic with girls

Bantwal, Mar 21: Moral policing strikes the district again. Two young men were beaten up by Sangh Parivar activists for going to picnic with female college students at Punjalkatte on Monday, March 21.

B C Road resident Irfan and Irvatturu resident Nazim were the persons who were assaulted.

Irfan used to drop five girls who were students of a local college in Madanthyar to their tuition centre. On Monday, the girls after their tuition went to picnic to Karinja hill in Irfan’s rickshaw. They were accompanied by Nazim.

The girls were supposedly clicking selfies with the youth, when Sangh Parivar activists caught hold of them. Irfan and Nazim were physically assaulted and handed over to the police.

Punjalkatte police entrusted the girls to their parents, after summoning them to the police station.

The incident has gone viral on social media.

It is said that Irfan is a BJP worker.

    Whether anybody go to picnic or to hell why these goons are bothered. The D.C Dakshina Kannada and Police Commissioner have to take stringent action those who are involved in such moral policing and stop this nuisance once for all.

    hard to believe.Again these moral policing has started their patroli .why these jobless goons does mix someonelses life.more interesting is our police,instead of arresting moral police goons ,they help them?where are we ?In Afghanistan ?Even in UAE too noone will arrest girls when they go to beach with other caste boys.Scandal.Police should be punished for supporting this moral policing.

    Police has no guts to arrest even a single BD or VHP member, all Head of the Police from last 5 to 6 years they telling they stop moral Policing , and take action against them , but to surpruse not a single Moral Policing arrest. Or action againdt them. Let them controll thier won children why worry for others. Why Police afraid to arrest them, what is the reason, most of the criminals are BD people. thus is known to all. This happens only Karnatak . Dont know why??

    Two adults have a right to go wherever they want to go. Nobody not even moral policemen can do anything about it. We need not interfere in others life. Maybe we can advise but never attack physically. This is a very sad trend indeed

    Bhajrangi's and Sanghi's are attributing to BJP down fall! BJP could have fared lot better than molesters and social menace! They lost it all by virtue of Church attack, pub attack and home stay attack! It happened under the leadership of Yeddy and Achar......never got the grip again....and will not get into power again unless they get rid of moral policing, gow rakshaks and so on! Why they do not have courage to practice their profession in Kerala or Goa??? Darpokes!! Why only Coastal girls need immoral police protection?? Why beef is allowed in Kerala and Goa?? Why it is sacred only in Coastal Districts??? Are police soft on them due to pressure of central connection?? They have spoiled communal harmony in DK and culminated down fall of their supporting party! Parents are better guardians than loafers!! Me and my wife provided good upbringing and values to our children and after 18 they are smarter than parents in many areas...they know what to do and what not to do! I guess parents are better judges than these uncivilized goons called moral polices!

    Which of the girls is related to you ? Where were you when they were going to school throughout the entire year ? Why didn't you stay at home and take her to college and bring her back ? Then the picnic would never have happened ?

    Hereafter, don't send girls in your family to school/colleges, keep them at home and give them in marriage to day-wage labourers - that is, if your own women trust your ability to do that.

    I wish Sidhu will be merciless on moral policing during his 2nd term, he is tough on them already! I wish these moral polices be thrown deep into Arabian sea as they are uneducated and burden on earth! Its high time govt paid police to take control on Sanghi paid unsatisfied fake police who are only behind young girls!! Why moral police can can not go behind govt babus swindling poor peoples blood by extracting bribes??? Why not urge pothole repairs? Why they can not go behind extortionists??? Because moral police are criminals, sex hungered maniacs and extortionists! There is hardly any moral policing in Udupi because Annamalai was on duty couple of years back.... now Chickmanglore has got rid of these clowns! If Annamali take charge of Mangalore....moral policing by Sanghi's will be thing of the past!

    Are you sending your children to school/college with a tracking collar ? My little one has plans for the last day in school - the child with classmates will go to have ice cream either in Pabbas/Ideal/City center. Am I to scan who the classmates are ? Which religion they belong to ? Bulshit ! If they don't have friends of all communities, what co-existing we are talking about ?

    Well, one instruction from the school principal - that one parent of the students (just one for a group of 10-15) will be available in the premises so that nobody takes liberty of them. So that its clear to the world that the students are out with permission. If I happen to be the parent present, BD or any other group be careful. I have given permission for my children to break a jaw first, of the man coming near them and I've said I'll see to everything next.

    Beware ! I've prepared my children for self defense !
