Mangaluru, Mar 19: As a part of skill development initiatives, MRPL has launched “MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra”. The main goal of skilling initiatives by MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra is to create opportunities and scope for the development of the unemployed youths of Karnataka. The emphasis is to provide skill development training to the unemployed youths to become employable and also to improve entrepreneurship skills.

MRPL has tied up with Nettur Technical training institution (NTTF), Bengaluru for imparting training to the candidates. In the first batch, 57 candidates have been trained in the ‘Industrial Electrician’ and ‘CNC Operator – Turning’ trades with job offers to all the successful candidates. In the second batch, 21 trainees have undergone training in ‘CNC Operator – Vertical Machining Centre’ and all the candidates have been offered with job offers.

Now, MRPL has begun registration of candidates for training under the third batch. The registration drive is held at MRPL Employees Club, MRPL Township, Kuthethur on March 18 from 9.30 am to 5 pm and on March 19 from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm. The candidates will be registered for training under CNC Vertical machining center, fitter fabrication and through-hole-assembly operator course. The candidates are required to bring their educational qualification certificate and Aadhar card for registration. SSLC /PUC/ ITI passed or failed candidates can contact for registration. Through-hole-assembly operator course is ideal for girl candidates. On completion of training, job offers will be offered to all the successful candidates. The training duration will be for a period of four months and all expenses including food, lodging, tutorial expenses, clothing in the form of uniform, will be borne by MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra.
