Mangaluru, Mar 18: The city crime branch (CCB) police on Sunday March 18 arrested two more persons relating to the fake marks cards racket.
Askan Sheikh (25) and Asraruddin (26) from Chembugudde are the persons arrested.
CCB police had busted the racket on March 14 and had arrested Godwin D’Souza.

Fake marks cards were printed in the name of Mangalore Institute of Technological Sciences (MITS) on T C Road, Thokkottu near here and sold for amounts ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 45,000 per certificate. Godwin was working for MITS, a bogus institute which was being run by its director Askan Sheikh since 2016.
Principal Askar Sheikh, director Askan Sheikh and Godwin together used to obtain details of the students and the unemployed and prepare the certificates within a week. They would charge Rs 10,000 for SSLC and PUC certificates and Rs 40,000 for degree and diploma certificates.
