Mangaluru: ‘Career Connect’ mega job fair at Milagres College on Thursday

Mangaluru, Mar 14: Milagres College will hold a mega job fair at its college campus on Thursday, March 15 with an aim to provide a platform for job seekers of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod districts,

MLA J R Lobo will inaugurate the event. Fr Valerian D’Souza, parish priest of Milagres Church, will preside over the inaugural programme. Archibald Menezes, management member of Milagres College will be the guest of honour.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Fr Michael Santhumayor, principal, Milagres College said, “We are conducting the Job fair under the name ‘Career Connect’ for providing opportunities for various educational certificate holders under one roof. 10+2, ITI, B Tech, MBA, BHM, BHS, diploma holders, graduates, and post-graduates in any stream can participate in this job fair. Major IT,BPO, insurance, banking, automobile, pharmacy, hotel, construction, real estate, health and education firms will select their candidates from this job fair.

The job fair will begin at 9 am and will continue till 5 pm.

“We are connecting the job seekers and job providers through this fair. There is no registration fee for job seekers. They need to bring only resumes and certificates. Spot registration will be entertained. Final year students can also participate in this event,” Fr Santhumayor added.
