Mangaluru, Mar 3: MLA of Mangaluru North Mohiuddin Bava on Saturday March 3 announced a harmony walk named 'Shasaka Bavara Nade - Samarasya Kade' from Mukka junction starting March 7. As the name suggests, the walk will be led by Mohiuddin Bava.
Addressing a press meet here on Saturday March 3, MLA Bava said, "KPCC working president Dinesh Gundu Rao will inaugurate the walk along with district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai. Actor Prakash Rai will also take part in the harmony walk."
He further said, "It is necessary to maintain peace and harmony in the district. So we are organizing this harmony walk. The walk will commence on March 7 at Mukka Junction and end on March 16 at Kaikamba.
"Starting from Mukka, it will proceed to Katipalla, and on the way, floral tributes will be paid at the place where Deepak's murder took place and a silent prayer will be offered. We will then move to Ganeshapura - Bollaje," he added.
