Margoa, Feb 28: Konkani Bhasha Mandal, Shrujan Sanvad and Ravindra Bhavan, have organized a special programme on the occasion of the 93rd birth anniversary of senior writer and Dyanpeeth award winner Ravindra Kelekar.
The program will be held in the conference hall, Ravindra Bhavan here on March 7 at 4.30pm.
Senior journalist Kumar Ketkar will be present for this programme. He will talk on the topic, ‘The ghost of English on regional languages’. Senior artist Subodh Kerkar will speak on Ravindra Kelekar’s contribution to Konkani and senior writer advocate Uday Bhembre will speak about Kelekar’s contribution to Goa’s liberation struggle and opinion poll.
The organisers have appealed the general public to remain present in large number and make the programme successful.
