A case stands registered in this regard in Vittal police station against Pushpa, a resident of Belur in Hassan district and conductor attached to KSRTC bus depot of B C Road.
Arpita and Supritha, lady constables of Vittal police station were supposed to travel to Bengaluru on 'Bus Warrant' in the KSRTC Rajahamsa bus that plies between Alike and Bengaluru. Two seats that should be given to the Alike organization were vacant. However, the lady conductor refused to offer the seats to the lady constables.
The lady conductor started screaming as to who is going to pay the toll charges if the bus warrant seats are given to the lady constables. Even the communication held by the station officer of Vittal police station, Nagaraj, with the ticker checker of KSRTC bus station did not yield any positive result. Shortly after this discussion, when the police tried to intervene, the lady conductor got furious and attacked lady constable Arpita.
Some people from KSRTC department have said that Pushpa, the lady conductor, creates a nuisance and gets into arguments with passengers and other staff of the department every now and then.
It is learnt that after all arguments and fight, both the lady constables travelled to Bengaluru by the same bus.
