Belthangady, Feb 18: A man who was working in a hotel in Oman is missing and his family people have requested the government's help to trace him.
Hussain (53), a resident of Kashibettu in the village of Laila near Ujire was working as a cook in a hotel in Oman since 10 years. He disappeared from 6 pm of January 26. His mobile phone is also switched off.
Hussain used to call home every day in the afternoon. Accordingly, he called home on the afternoon of January 26. However, there is no call from him after the said date. When the family members contacted his friends, they have told that Hussain is missing from the company's accommodation from the evening of January 26.
Hussain's relatives have informed Oman Social Forum and Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) Oman of his missing. Both the organizations put in efforts to trace Hussain. As he could not be found, they have complained about Hussain's missing to the Indian Embassy in Oman.
Hussain has wife and two sons aged nine and eleven.
The relatives of Hussain have met Nalin Kumar Kateel, member of parliament and requested him to bring this issue to the notice of the central government and help in tracing him and send him back to India.
