Sullia: Well-known Malayalam film personality, Mohanlal, visits Subrahmanya

Sullia, Feb 16: Well-known Malayalam cine actor, producer, director and playback singer, Mohanlal Vishwanathan, who has also won national award for acting, visited Lord Subrahmanya temple at Kukke in the taluk on Thursday February 15 and paid obeisance to the presiding deity of the temple.

Mohanlal is here in connection with the filming of his Malayalam movie, 'Kaayamkulam Kochchunni' since the last two days. On Thursday early morning, he came to the temple and had the darshan of the Lord. Chief priest of the temple, Seetaram Yadapadithaya, draped a shawl around the visiting dignitary and offered him Prasadam. Later, the celebrated actor also visited the shrine of Hosoligamma and paid obeisance there.

Temple protocol officer, Gopinath Nambeesh and member of Subrahmanya Master Plan Committee, Sudheer Kumar Shetty received Mohanlal.

When Mohanlal came out after visiting the sanctum sanctourm of Subrahmanya temple, people who identified him, gleefully went to him and spoke to him besides getting photographs clicked in his company. Although he said he was getting late for the shooting, Mohanlal freely mingled with his fans and went to Koila near Padavu on Subrahmanya road where shooting for the film is on.

Presently, famous Malayalam actor, Mammootty, is also stying at a hotel in Subrhamanya in connection with the shooting of Malayalam movie, 'Mamagam'.
