Mangaluru, Feb 14: Father Muller Medical College Hospital- Hospital Infection Control Department and BD India from February 12 to 14 organised an IV infusion training for the 50 registered staff nurses of FMMCH.
The inaugural of IV Infusion therapy training was on February 12 at 9.30 am. Fr Richard Coelho, director Father Muller Charitable Institutions was president of the function, Jyothi Supriya K, Infection Control Consultant, BD India was chief guest, Dr Sanjeev Rai, chief of medical services FMMCH, Dr Thomas S K, HICO and Shiji P J, secretary HICC were the dignitaries on the dais.
The programme commenced with a prayer song. Shiji P J secretary, HICC welcomed the gathering followed by customary lamp lighting ceremony by the dignitaries. Jyothi Supriya K, chief guest briefed on the IV infusion team concept and its importance. She also motivated the participants to learn and update newer concepts about IV Infusion.
Fr Richard Coelho in his presidential address appreciated the HIC department for organising the training programme and wished the delegates all the best in the training.
Dr Thomas S K proposed the vote of thanks.
The programme ended with the institutional anthem at 10.15 am.
