Udupi, Feb 12: A person of north Indian origin, who was working in the plantation of an entrepreneur from Kaup, ended his life by hanging himself in the room of his house at Kalya near Katapadi on Saturday February 10. The victim has been identified as Nandan Yadav.
Yadav was heavily addicted to liquor. On account of this addiction, he often stayed at home without going out to work.
On Saturday, when his wife was away at work, he committed suicide by using a rope. His son, who came home from school in the afternoon, came to know of the incident.
On the basis of complaint filed by the wife of Yadav, a case stands registered at Kaup police station.
