Margao, Feb 10: Carmelite Fathers, Goa have scheduled an extravaganza of Konkani songs ‘Melwyn Peris Nite’ by Yodeling King of Mangaluru, Melwyn Peris at Ravindra Bhavan here on February 10 at 3.30 pm.

Accompanying the popular singer to entertain the audience are well known melodious Konkani singers and artistes from Mangaluru, Rony Crasta, Robin Sequeira, Roshan Angelore, Melster Peris, Kenny Pereira, Shilpa Cutinha, Zeena Pereira, Melwyn Fernandes, Oswald Sequeira, Rajesh and Jerome Coelho. The programme will be compered by Jerry Rasquinha while music will be provided by Joel Pereira.

The programme will also have a Goan touch as comedy artistes of Goa, Prince Jacob and John D’Silva will participate in it. Dances by Nach Sobhann from Mangaluru will be an added attraction.

The programme is being held to collect funds for the construction of a retreat house at Divine Springs, Xellim.
