Bantwal, Feb 7: Traffic was chocked after a container lorry rammed into the railway bridge at Mittur here on Wednesday February 7.
The container lorry was carrying cars from the city.
It is learnt the driver of the lorry sustained minor leg injuries.
Following the accident, train services were suspended temporarily.
Railway officials arrived at the spot and conducted a thorough examination of the bridge and railway track. The train service will be resumed only after ascertaining the extent of damage and carrying out repair, sources said.
Efforts are on to clear the traffic and move the lorry.
