Nagaraj is said to have told Reshma that if she was determined to proceed on leave, she could go ahead but he would take his own life if she did. Nagaraj had posed similar treats even in the past, and therefore, Reshma did not take this threat seriously, it is said.
After coming to knnow about Nagaraj's death, a distressed Reshma jumped into a well. She is being treated by the doctors of the government hospital Kollur.
Kollur police sub-inspector and staff rushed to the spot after coming to know about the tragedy and took measures to register a case and inform his family.
