Mangaluru: Body of man watching yakshagana found floating in pond

Mangaluru, Jan 15: The body of a person who had visited car street here to watch a Yakshagana performance going on there was found floating in a nearby pond.

The deceased has been identified as Narasimha Kamath (60) from Gurpur.

Kamath had come to car street for watching yakshagana programme there. It is suspected that he would have slipped when passing by the side of the pond.

It is said that the deceased had a house at Nandanapura, Akash Bhavana in the city, which he had sold and was residing with his children at Bengaluru. He had come back to the city recently. He also had a house at Gurpur which he visited rarely.

The body of Kamath was handed over to his family members. A case about unnatural death was registered in Bunder police station here.
