Mangaluru, Jan 12: Scores of BJP leaders and right-wing outfits on Friday January 12 gheraoed the district Congress office at Mallikatta in protest against chief minister Siddaramaiah's statement terming BJP and RSS leaders as 'terrorists'.

The protest was held in the wake of home minister Ramalinga Reddy's visit to the city. Reddy too justified the CM's statement while speaking to reporters in the city.

The protestors shouted slogans condemning the CM's remark and demanding apology.

Addressing the protest, Monappa Bhandary said, "Congress Karnataka in-charge K C Venugopal had said that the state government will not ban PFI and KFD. If Venugopal an agent of PFI? 

"District in-charge minister Ramanath Rai has been engaging in goondaism with superintendent of police in front of goons, but no action has been taken. Siddaramaiah calls BJP and Sangh Parivar as 'terrorists', but what about organizations like PFI and KFD? 

"Some Muslims are brainwashing girls as part of the love Jihad agenda and making them join ISIS, but the state government has chosen to remain silent on it," he alleged.

The Barke and Bunder police who had beefed up security at the spot in anticipation of the protest arrested the BJP and right-wing leaders.

As many as 86 BJP and right-wing activists were arrested under Section 71 of Karnataka Police Act and released later.

Among those arrested were Capt Brijesh Chowta, Vedavyas Kamath, Monappa Bhandary, Ganesh Hosabettu, Roopa D Bangera, Yogish Bhat, Santosh Kumar, Satyajit Suratkal and others.

    Whether it is BJP or Congress,both are like two faces of the same coin,playing dirty politics in the region and disturbing the peace of the people,who are living peacefully with harmony.There is not much difference between the two.What they are going to prove,God only knows.Here in this region,both parties are playing blame games-Hindu-Muslims etc etc and trying to divide the country in the name of religion.
    My dear brothers,think about your own fellow country men,who are employed in Muslim countries especially in Gulf countries.In fact they are being treated well in that country regardless of their religion except in some exceptional cases.Once they start their religion mentality and throw out your Hindu fellow men from their country,what will be the fate?.Will you provide them decent job with decent salary to support their family and family members?.Before taking any steps,think twice.Don't think only about you and your country.Did you think about that?.Do some good job towards your nation and don't sow seeds of hatredness,don't create disharmony among the different community people.Our country is a big and vast country with diversified beliefs.Allow them to live peacefully at least in the best interest of future of our mother land,our children

    Let the all the governments of India and all over the world define “terrorism “ till now no one ready to define terrorism and only targeting Muslims as terrorists. Even UN failed to define.
    Terrorism is person , affiliation, groups or government indulges fear in mass public or community. Now automatically everyone finds answer who are terrorists!

    Amit shah came to karnataka and given yuva morcha some targets to fulfill. Many lost their lives because of his ignition.! These outfits taking innocent lives.. Many hindus lost their life on the hands of these outfit guys... The outfits are asked to kill other community .. sometime they also killed own people by mistaken identity.... (harish poojary etc).
    These outfits killed more people than PFI killed... On what moral basis you ask to ban PFI? If it is required then ban these saffron outfits before banning pfi.
    Any organization which involves in killing of others must be banned irrespective of religion. With the proof we have from last few years i think all these outfits can be promoted as terror organization. As said truth is always bitter... If someone speak truth they feel humiliated !!! Go file defamation case against the CM !! Stop these street dance.. !! Find some decent job and start supporting your family.. Take better care of your own family before you care for others...
