Mumbai: Preparations on for Kannada Sangha Santacruz diamond jubilee

Mumbai, Jan 8: Kannada Sangha Santacruz held a preparatory meeting for the diamond jubilee celebrations at Billava Bhavan auditorium, Santacruz east on January 3.

Office bearers and members who were present on the occasion decided to celebrate the jubilee in a unique manner and meaningful way. A committee consisting of present office bearers and executive committee members was formed for the purpose.

Vice president Gunapala Shetty Aikala, honorary chief treasurer Sudhaker Uchil, joint secretary Chandrahas J Kotian, education committee president Bannanje Ravindra Ameen, secretary Shakila P Shetty, social and cultural committee president Vanitha Y Nonda, former vice president Nithyananda D Kotian, executive committee members Govinda R Bangera, Sharada S Poojary, Suma M Poojary, Shalini S Shetty, R P Hegde, advisory committee members Narayana S Shetty, B R Poonja, N M Sanil, special invitee members Shivarama M Kotian, Lingappa B Ameen, Vijayakumar K Kotian and others were present.



L V Ameen welcomed everyone and delivered the keynote address. Social and cultural committee secretary Laxmi N Kotian welcomed everyone and sang a prayer song. Honorary chief secretary Sujatha R Shetty compered the hall programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
