Udupi, Jan 4: The 276th ‘Wilfy Nite’, a musical evening featuring songs of the legendary singer-composer Wilfy Rebimbus will be held on the occasion of the inauguration and blessing of Stella Maris Church, Kalmady at the church premises on January 6.

The event has been conceptualized to be a grand, fun-filled, entertaining evening for one and all with a plethora of immortal songs of the legend sung by his family members including ‘Konkan Maina’ Meena Rebimbus, Vishwas Rebimbus, Veena Rebimbus Nee Pais, Arvin, Anna, Roger along with their troupe of acclaimed singers including Prem, Ivan, Babita, Babita Pinto, Claude, Clement, Nihal Tauro, Munita along with music maestros Pappan and Joswin.

To complete the package, the singers and the musicians will also be accompanied by 'Thunder Guys' dance team led by Gavin Rodrigues and some of the most famous comedians comprising Dolla, and 'Hasysancho Pavs' fame team ‘The Expressions’ which will entertain the audiences with their comedy skits. Renowned 'Thunder Guyz' Bajpe dance troupe will enthrall the audience with their amazing dance performances.

Eddie Sequeira and Vincent Alva will compere the programme. With the beginning of New Year, a new form of performance is expected in this ‘Wilfy Nite’. Entry to the programme is open to all. Parish priest Fr Alban D’Souza has cordially welcomed the public to witness this event.
