Kundapur, Jan 3: “In the last three years BJP state president, B S Yeddyurappa has brought in funds by working hard for the development of Byndoor. Several development projects have also been conducted. Many works are in progress. Projects on bridges are also in progress. It is the responsibility of the state to implement projects for the center. But the state government is not informing the MP while laying foundations for projects in the center and unfairly terming them as state government projects,” said Purushottam, personal secretary to B S Yeddyurappa.
Speaking at a news conference in Kundapur, he said that a proposal for various works worth Rs 7,150 lac for the year 2017-18 is sent to Mantralaya. “Nine NCRMP projects worth Rs 1,219 lac are in tender stage. Yeddyurappa has selected Keradi grama panchayat under Adarsh grama project. The details of 1,079 families surveyed there are entered online.
“Construction work and maintenance of roads, shelter for poor, anganwadi building, street lights, drinking water and bridges are taken up. Nine projects worth Rs 1,219 lac under national disaster management are in tender stage.”
“Fishermen are devastated due to lack of fish. Their problems are made complex as the state government has not released kerosene subsidy to them. The state government which has provided several 'bhagyas' should release 'Kerosene bhagya'.” he urged.
BJP state executive member B M Sukumar Shetty, Byndoor BJP mandal president Sadananda Uppinakudru, Hattiangadi grama panchayat president Rajiv Shetty were present.
