Mangaluru: Police commissioner flags off Crime Prevention Month

Mangaluru Dec 9: Police Commissioner T R Suresh flagged off the rally from Town Hall to Police Community Hall here on Saturday December 9 to mark the Crime Prevention Month.

Addressing the gathering T R Suresh said," We are organising Crime Prevention Week in order to create awareness among public about the crime that are taking place. Most of the time children and women are become the victim of crime and it is necessary to create awareness to prevent such crimes,”

"People need to be safe from the crimes which take place in different ways. Such awareness programme should reach to the mass to prevent the crimes. Public support also is very important to control the crime in the society. People have to feel more safe and secure in their respective communities,”

DCP- Law and Order Hanumantharaya, ACP- Traffic Manjunath Shetty, ACP Uday Nayak, ACP - South Rama Rao and others were present.
