Mr C. Fernandes, though MLA's house is closeby, MLA cannot be blamed for this. Because Nanthoor Junction falls for Highway and Highway does not come under MLA's responsibility. It comes under MP Nalin Kumar Kateel's responsibility. But Unfortunately, he's busy in setting fire to entire DK and also busy in being a rowdy with Kadri Inspector!!!!!!
So this is just for your knowledge. Don't post something nonsense without knowing certain facts!!

Mr Kiran Dsouza Mangalore ,with due respect to you and your opinion just want to clarify the owner has to bear the brunt for the drivers negligence.
I am not sure if you are aware of the procedures after accident dealing with RTO &court etc.
In the video it clearly shows the bus drivers fault. However shifting ladies seats from front to back does not serve the purpose.

Rather like the gulf contries the driver should be made liable to pay the blood money and till the money gets claimed the person should be behind bars with severe punishment.
At this junction the signal should be working 24/7 .
As you mentioned in this case the owner is affected for the negligence is the owner responsible?
The video clearly shows the driver has not paid any attention to the other vehicle.
So Kiran again as I mentioned above in my statement blaming the bus owner is easy but also the Mayor,RTO,Traffic Police and other authorities are equally responsible.

No use of blaming on drivers and politicians. now changes has to comes from our end. we have to follow the traffic rules like how people are in Dubai or other places are following the traffic rules. Always we are in a hurry to reach the place but don't think what be the result from our negligence driving. So its better we follow the road lane n traffic rules and specially stop putting horn while driving and specially while we are in a signal. It become our habit more than focusing on road we busy in putting horn.
Humble request to so called educated people of Mangalore , atleast from today onwards please follow the traffic rules and stop bribing traffic police when they put fine.
If possible please demand authorized persons to put automatic 24x7 traffic signal in all possible places in Mangalore.

The way was clear for truck to cross the circle whereas bus driver didn't slow down, came in high speed and hit the truck. He didn't slow his bus as other vehicle in the same side were waiting for the police signal to cross. In circles always we should give clearance to the right side vehicle to pass first as they cannot see the left side clearly. Rash and negligence driving of private buses, no one to control them. First they should understand that they are carrieng human beings not animals.

we drive via this road almost daily... and it's a common scenario. Everyday such accident can happen. only a blink of second escapes .... but today it just happened. all these city bus drivers think they are running a multi axil high end busses with anti collision system , ABD , EBD Air bag to all passengers... and all safety measures. that's how they drive the bus. Very very recklessness driving... and now the sufferers are others... bus passengers , car owner, lorry driver... this bus driver I am telling you, if left alive... with minor injuries, tomorrow itself you can see him driving on the same road, same speed.... I be it. That's how our system works. Bus owner will inform police to settle the case and like all other such cases this will also be closed. pity on ourselves to be a part of this system. Or else how he can drive so reckless in such a busy junction .... that also lorry has almost crossed the junction and there is another lorry following it... this bloody guy didn't feel like putting the break at all...

This is everyday feature in Mangaluru. Suppose to become a Smart City. The Way these City and Service buses ply is really dangerous to watch. They know that all the small vehicles give way to them once they arrive. They can stop in the middle of the road and pick one single passenger from anywhere, but the smaller vehicles cannot or should not disturb them. They are the meanest of all the road violators. Even the Police are seem to be ignoring them. If they can be controlled, 90% of the traffic problems will be solved in Mangaluru.
They do not have any restriction on speed. They think they are just like James Bond. LICENCED TO KILL. The RTO, Police looks like helpless to act against them.

The bus drivers seem to be in a mighty hurry, no reason why, but with all the hurry they still seem to remain as bus drivers all their lives , no improvement at all

The department cannot check their speed , they can only explore improvement options with private owners for wrong parking and drunken driving as there is more to learn and develop on vehicle towing trucks and smart alcohol sensors

noise pollution seems to be at peak with authorities managing to catch some shut eye all the while through this ,

hey , not long ago we had a mayor ? whats become of that ? anyone else who would over react to something normal like this exists in our well balanced eco system?

you will see RTO only stopping interstate vehicles , needless to say , they have to re verify their original documents on a daily basis , there may be a spelling mistake that would have crept in overnight
meanwhile life goes on .......and sometimes off

Our traffic Police is totally failure. Every were signal lights must install. Very bad traffic system in Mangalore .
But they are very good in collecting money from the public. every day morning i had seen in Nanthoor police will stand after the junction towards Kerala and stop vehicle and collect money from the people .

Why don’t they put humps just before the dangerous junctions ?

Private bus owner do not respect traffic rules and Police.Even after they are told to stop by Police they try to sneak in.Accidents happen only because of negligence.People also do not respect lane discipline. And that is our India.

So many accident happen in Nanthoor and still the authority is not waking up. The long pending of Underpass near nanthoor is not yet started. Media should focus on this issue until the work gets started. Where are the MLAs and MPs of mangalore? Why are they not taking this seriously? Are they waiting some more people to die?
Please daijiworld, highlight this issue as much as possible so there is some conclusion on this.

    My dear friend Vijay,
Nothing is going to happen on that junction Underpass nor over bridge. Because there are some big head houses on that stretch where thye are not allowing .There was a proposal to construct overbridged but when our Mangalorea/Udupi there dearest minster ( fit for chief guest l Inauguration) became Transport lHighwqy minister in central the proposal was kept under table.
Next is the busses coming on the highway from bikkaranakatte to nanthoor see the speed they come .If the traffic is blocked they take extreme left & block the road for the traffic which goes towards pomp well ,Next they go on honking even if they see the traffic blocked but our dear traffic polices see & they smile at the driver .
This place the accidents will happen people will die but our traffic department will not take any action nor MP Nor MLA Nor MLC.
Our traffic polices are who stand there only check Kerala reg. vehicles ,Trucks to loot money thts all. Sorry to say this

Ordinary people injured, no problem ,concerned authorities will be in deep sleep. To wake them up it requires some VIP's included. Otherwise on tomorrow's newspaper usual statements from the authorities "Proposal/plans sent to Delhi on flyover/underpass/tunnel etc.. etc.. for approvals. This is going on since the highway upgraded to 4 lanes.
