Udupi, Nov 27: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Monday November 27 thanked the people, the police department and everyone involved in the success of the three-day Dharma Sansad that concluded here on Sunday November 26.

Addressing a press meet here, M B Puranik, executive president of Dharma Samsad said, "Each and every person put in efforts to ensure the success of Dharma Sansad. People from all sections of society, religions, volunteer organisations and people of Ujjain extended their wholehearted cooperation. Nearly 2,000 saints and sadhus arrived from various parts of the country. Even Tibetians and people from Kathmandu were a part of the event.

"The oceanic crowd was a testimony to the success of the historic convention. Over 1,50,000 people gathered during the three days. Participants came from Kodagu, Kasargod, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi. The Ganeshotsava committee, Bhajan committee and other organizations extended their help as volunteers. There was even a Muslim volunteer group supplying water, food and hospitality. The volunteers of VHP and Bajrang Dal have worked day and night for the success of Dharma samsad," he said.

M B Puranik specially thanked the police department for ensuring that the event went on smoothly and peacefully. "The police provided additional security and took care about traffic management under the charge of superintendent of police Dr Sanjeev Patil."

Gopalji, VHP central southern region organizing secretary said, "Four major resolutions were passed in the Dharma Sansad - Construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya by 2019, cow protection, cow slaughter ban and making cow the national animal of India, equality for all where same facilities are accessible to minority and majority, and administration of temples and maths by math heads and not government.

"We were able to get accommodation for sadhus and saints for free. Nearly 75 hotels did not take a single rupee from the organizers while taking good care of them," he said.

"Over 1,50,000 people visited the 'Hindu Vaibhav' exhibition. Many Hindu swamijis and leaders could not participate as they had other committments," Gopalji said.

District VHP president Vilas Nayak and T P A Shenoy were present.

My dear speakers of VHP, crowd is not the right marker to judge the success but the outcome of the 'Dharma Sansad' resolution.

If you people are true Hindu believers;please let us know
How many stray cows has been adopted by your members?
How many unemployed Hindu youths are given jobs?
How many unmarried girls got married?
How many sisters from brothels are ready marry by your organisational members giving them decent lives?
How much grant has given to old age people?
How many food packages are supplied to homeless people?
How many patients supplied free medical health care?
How many units of blood donation collected from this 'Dharma Sansad' which can save the lives of many patience?
    Jai Hind

In every program there will be same speeches and same dialogues. In kannada we say" Adhe Haadu Adhe Raaga". Till today no one speaks about true teachings to hinduism to the public in the program. Every samajotsava contains insulting other religions, spreading communal speeches and mentioning of things such as Ram mandir, ban on cow slaughtering , love jihad etc etc. People should question themselves that what they gained from this program??

No doubt the platform was good but should have been without the North Indian junks. What kind of rubbish advise a few Seers or monks were offering to the youngsters?? Instead, why they didn't opt for serving the nation at the Border?? For them no one there front or back, other than enjoy every worldly comforts by misusing and misguiding the innocent and young minds. One bad apple within a basket of apples can cause damage to all other apples too!! Reached the bedrooms of couples also, without knowing the sacred institution of marriage... How can anyone claim closeness to God, when they fail to recognize the human nature created by the Supreme Creator..
