Bengaluru : SC judge refuses to share dais with two 'tainted' ministers

Bengaluru, Nov 26 (DHNS): Mines and Geology Minister Vinay Kulkarni and Labour Minister Santosh Lad stayed away from the centenary celebration programme of the Karnatak College, Dharwad (KCD) on Saturday after a Supreme Court judge refused to share the dais with the two 'tainted' ministers at the event.

According to the invitation, Supreme Court judge Justice Mohan Shantanagoudar had to inaugurate the programme. Ministers Kulkarni, Lad, Basavaraj Rayareddi and H K Patil were the chief guests for the programme. Though, Higher Education Minister Basavaraj Rayareddi and RDPR Minister H K Patil attended the programme, Kulkarni and Lad stayed away.

Vinay Kulkarni, Santosh Lad

Sources in the KCD said that when Rayareddi went to invite Justice Shantanagoudar for the programme, the judge clearly instructed him not to allow ministers Kulkarni and Lad to sit along side with him.

This instruction from Justice Shantanagoudar was reportedly due to Kulkarni's name being linked to the murder of the local BJP leader and Dharwad Zilla Panchayat member Yogishgouda Goudar.

The sources said that Rayareddi tried his best to convince Justice Shantangoudar. However, the judge stuck to his decision and told Rayareddi that he would not attend the programme, if Kulkarni participated. This caused huge embarrassment to the Higher Education Minister, who later called up Kulkarni asking him not to attend the programme.
In his inaugural speech, Justice Shantanagoudar referred to the name of all the dignitaries but skipped those of Kulkarni and Lad.

Rayareddi reacts

Speaking to reporters after the inaugural ceremony, Rayareddi stated that as serious allegations have been levelled against Kulkarni and Lad, the two ministers themselves decided not to share the dais with the Supreme Court judge, and hence did not attend the programme.

What about corruption in judiciary ?

Recently there was news about 100 crore offered to a judge to give favourable judgement to somebody called shah ...

Even reddi's tried in the past to bribe judge to give judgement in their favour ...

We read so many judges caught taking bribe ....

So, dikave pe mat jao ... As per law you are not guilty until proven. If on blind accusation you distance, then majority ministry at centre may be away from people...so many cases against so many leaders ..

    A must read...,

Justice to innocent women & children in our Sovereign country called Hindustan, against serious allegation of mass murder under the nose & aegis of political leaders were turned down by the various courts of Hindustan, just for lack of evidence beyond reasonable doubts to prove such allegations not necessarily make them pure before the eternal eyes of Lord Brahma...,

My only point is there is lot more to take note of from action, in-action & reaction from our honorable judicial fraternity..., while they know in their conscious the intent of such action, in-action & or reaction.

In Hindustan, every honorable members of legal fraternity be it lawyers or judges..., know that every accused is innocent till the guilt is proved beyond reasonable doubt...,

Without prejudice.., my only point here is, therefore just b'coz, the judge took a sanctified stand not to sit along side the accused, don't give any reason to believe & conclude that the accused are not worthy humans (unless it is known to the conscious of such person)

    jh

    So many are convicted on records for they are not so powerful;
Bigger criminals are those powerful, who committed much bigger crimes, have managed to destroy all evidences, capable of threatening and eliminating witnesses and records and are acquitted for lack of evidences!
They would have managed come clean by manipulation in this world but will get divine conviction!

The judge need to be sacked. The principle of law is that ' You are innocent until proven guilty'. The judge is nothing but the bootlicker of BJP leaders. I am he got instructions or threats from BJP leaders who either bribed him or threatened him .

There are many pending cases against many ministers in Feku Govt and UP CM himself got many criminal cases against him. Will all judges stop attending the functions with these ministers also?
