Bengaluru, Nov 24: The family of IAS officer D K Ravi has sought re-investigation by a separate wing of the CBI.
The demand was made by Gowramma, D K Ravi's mother, on behalf of the family.
Ravi had committed suicide in 2015.

"We are not happy with the CBI investigation into the death of my son D K Ravi. I repeat that he was murdered. We want a re-investigation by a separate wing of the CBI," Gowramma said speaking to reporters here on Friday, November 24.
“We have not received any documents enclosed with the CBI report. We have submitted applications more than 30 times seeking enclosures of the CBI report. But there has been no response," she added.
“Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and ministers K J George and D K Shivakumar are involved in Ravi’s murder and they had influenced the CBI in furnishing the wrong report,” she alleged.
"There are efforts to project that Ravi hanged himself over personal reasons, which is not true," she said.
“There is heavy pressure on me to contest the Assembly election. If the people of Kolar decide to field anybody seeking justice for my son's death, I will support that person. I have not taken any decision yet regarding contesting the election myself,” she said replying to a question.
“At present, my priority is to seek a re-investigation into my son's death." She concluded.
