Dubai, Jun 30: Gulf Medical College was honored by the visit of the Vice-chancellor, Prof Chandra Krishnamurthy of SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai India with an enrollment of over 70,000 students on Sunday June 29. The Vice-chancellor met the president Thumbay Moideen to explore the possibilities of joint academic activities. The Vice-chancellor was briefed about the progress and activities of the college. The Vice-chancellor viewed a short presentation about the college followed by a tour of the College and Hospital. Prof Chandra Krishnamurthy was presented a memento by the dean of the College, Prof. Gita Ashok Raj.
Prof Chandra Krishnamurthy was highly impressed by the infrastructure and facilities provided by the college management and congratulated the president Thumbay Moideen for having made such a remarkable progress in such a short span of time.
Gulf Medical College has a student cohort from 40 nations. The college is open to all nationalities. The college is recognized and approved as an institution for higher education by the Ministry of Higher Education, UAE. GMC is listed in WHO Directory of Medical Schools and also listed in IMED Directory.
