Udupi, Nov 16: Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamij, senior seer of Paryaya Pejawar math welcomed chariot ‘Sudharma Ratha’ by offering mangalarathi at Kanaka Gopura, in front of Sri Krishna temple Udupi here on Wednesday, November 15.

Speaking on the occasion, Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji said, “Vishwa Hindu Parishad is a big chariot of Hindu community. This ratha depicts Krishna and Arjuna. Lord Sri Krishna symbolizes saints and seers of Hindu society. Arjuna marks Hindus of the nation whole. Hence, both Hindu saints and Hindus should get together, only then Hindu society will develop. Let the Sudharma Ratha be a preface for the welfare of Hindu society. May this programme succeed in achieving its goal.”

The Sudharma Ratha is made in order to promotion of Dharma Samsad to be held in city from November 24 to 26. The Ratha was taken in main places of Udupi district like Byndoor, Kundapura, Karkala and Kaup. After that, it was taken in and around city. On Wednesday, it returned to Udupi. The Ratha is designed to create and spread awareness about importance of Hindu dharma.

Sharan Pumpwell, provincial secretary Bajrang Dal, Sunil K R, provincial convenor Bajrang Dal, Vilas Nayak, vice president VHP Udupi district, Suprabha Acharya, vice president VHP Udupi district, Rama J Rao, president Durgavani Udupi district, Padma Ratnakar, district principal Mathru mandali, Achuth Kalmadi, Dinesh Mendon, co-convenor Bajrang Dal Udupi, Santosh Suvarna, district president VHP Udupi city, Anil, Suraksha leader, former Udupi MLA, Raghupati Bhat, Sandhya Ramesh, Nayana Ganesh were present.

    Swamiji's call for Sudharma is very apt for the moment...., first & foremost Hindu's must unitedly throw & thrash the polical parties which take advantage of religion to fulfill their lust...,

    Celebrate your festivals and enjoy but my request to all the religious leaders please don't allow support burning firecrackers during any occasion or festivals. I'm sure many would raise the question why there's an outrage, or rather a plea only during festivities, but here are seven reasons that might just convinces to give up bursting crackers.
    Smog,fire accidents, other leaving pets and animals fear, garbage,child labor,crackers affect newborn and pregnant women, harmful gases in air,
    Just take the example of our Delhi and people are struggling to breath clean air. Please don't pollute Udupi

    Instead of blaming other community and govt try to remove the caste system..help poor hindus to uplift them,treat sc/st are equal as brahmins... this is the real meaning of Hindu Samajostava (i my opinion) hope swamiji work hard on that

    See seperately rich Hindu..poor Hindu..
    Help,support rich hindu..
    Demand total prohibition to save poor Hindu..no
    Poor Moodbidri students Kavya Poojary ..no support.
    Appease Muslims in Krishna mutt by allowing namaz..
    Bring rule with financial help RS 51000 to minority poor girls
    but no to Hindu poor girls. Govt initiative unopposed.
    To confuse poor hindus shout for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
    Seperate seating arrangement for non Brahmins for lunch in temples
    dominated by Brahmins..no solution.
    Good thing..branhmins can accept currency notes as dakshina even from most backward caste devotees.Currency Note is pure.

    In Kerala since Vijayan became cm ,26 RSS karyakatas were brutally murdered.Did RSS,BJP,HJV,BD done anything ..?If not,why..?
