Bhatkal, Nov 15: "Our chief minister, Siddaramaiah, who went to Dharmasthala after consuming non-vegetarian food, returned from the temple entrance. Although he went to Udupi four times, he never visited Lord Srikrishna temple. Because of him, Hindu religion, culture, customs and way of life have been hurt," said state BJP president, B S Yeddyurappa.
He was speaking after inaugurating the public meeting organized at Guru Sudheendra College ground here on the evening of Monday November 14 as part of BJP's 'Parivartana Yatre'. He accused Siddaramaiah of running government like Tughlaq Darbar.
"Money people have paid by way of taxes is being swindled. Lokayukta has been made inactive. By forming Anti Corruption Bureau, Siddaramaiah is getting cases faced by himself and his family members cleared. BJP will rise to power in the next election. We will re-investigate all cases against Siddaramaiah and see that he is punished for the wrongs. Before his death, deputy superintendent of police, Ganapati, clearly said that minister, K J George, was responsible for his death. Supreme Court has ordered for Central Bureau of Investigation probe in this case and BJP will fight till the minister resigns from the ministry. State Congress in-charge, Venugopal, faces rape case, which we will be following up in the parliament. Our aim is to drive Congress away from the country, and already only a handful of Congress MPs remain in the Lok Sabha. In the coming days, BJP will be winning elections in Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, and Karnataka," he said.
