Ballari: CBI has washed off its hands in illegal mining scam - Ramalinga Reddy

Daijiworld Media Network – Ballari (RJP)

Ballari, Nov 12: State home minister Ramalinga Reddy said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has washed off its hands in the illegal mining and transportation of ore scam.

Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, November 13, the minister added, “As many as 57 companies had involved in illegal mining and transportation of ore. The CBI could have got into the root of the scam. But it ended the probe midway,”

“The state has suffered huge losses due to unabated mining and transportation of ore. The issue will be discussed in Cabinet meeting. The Cabinet sub-committee has taken several decisions on this issue,” he said.

"The Union government has been misusing the central agencies like CBI, I-T, ED, RBI and the Election Commission," he alleged.

Speaking on the probe into murder of Gauri Lankesh, Ramalinga Reddy said, "The SIT has taken the suspects into custody. It is too early to reveal the identity of the suspects,”

As per BJP's own version CBI is caged parrot during UPA era. After 2014 elected to the center under PM Modi, the same premier agency started getting force fed and trained to talk the same language of BJP.
Appointment of new CBI special director, the SC will be hearing On November 13 a most unusual case. For the first time in the history of the country, the appointment of a serving top officer of India’s premier police investigating agency is being questioned because he is himself being investigated in a corruption case by the same agency.
The person concerned is Rakesh Asthana, officer of the 1984 batch of the IPS belonging to the Gujarat cadre. He was appointed as special director of the CBI on October 22 by an order issued by the appointments committee of the cabinet comprising PM Modi and Union home minister Rajnath.
Asthana has held a number of important positions in his career, including those of inspector general of police, Vadodara, joint commissioner of police, Ahmedabad city and commissioner of police in Surat and Vadodara. He was part of the SIT appointed by the Gujarat government to inquire into the infamous Godhra train burning episode in 2002. Asthana is understood to be close to the prime minister as well as the BJP president Amit Shah.
Ex-CBI Director R.K. Raghavan headed a probe that cleared Modi of involvement in the 2002 Godhra riots.Former chief has been picked up by the Modi government as India’s high commissioner to Cyprus, the Ministry of External Affair. His appointment is a political one as ambassadorial posts are usually meant for Indian Foreign Service officers.
He headed a probe that cleared then chief minister Modi of involvement in the 2002 Gujarat riots. In 2008, he also headed the team investigating the Gulbarg Society massacre. also in charge of probing the April 2000 match-fixing scandal. He investigated the 1996 rape and murder of law student Priyadarshini Mattoo.
The reality of PM Modi's 'Good governance'.

When the head instructs subordinates must listen and close the case. Tomorrow should anyone talk about illegal mining scam, bhakts will claim that there was no case. No case means clean chit. This is the sad part of democracy in India.
