Udupi, Nov 12: "I have attended 20-30 public meetings in Udupi but never seen such overwhelming crowd support. This shows the support for BJP in Karnataka. On January 28, 2018, there will be a grand valedictory of Nava Karnataka Parivartana Yatra in Bengaluru. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be arriving to participate in it," said state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa during the Udupi leg of his party's Parivartana Yatra at Chittaranjan circle here on Sunday, November 12.
"The Parivartana Yatra is being organized not for me to become the chief minister but to uphold life of respect, peace coexistence and independence in Karnataka. BJP is getting a huge response from the public day by day. The prime objective of this campaign is to make Karnataka a Congress-free state. It is also Modi's dream. That is only possible if the young population of the state joins hands. If BJP comes to power in the state, I will ensure a peaceful, efficient and clean administration. I am confident that I can do it," he said.
Commenting on CM Siddaramaiah not entering Sri Krishna Temple, Udupi, he said, “The incident at Lord Manjunatha of Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala stopped him from entering this temple. That is why he returned from the door itself.
"Siddaramaiah is sowing the seed of poison, liquor, caste issues and showing off his power to win the upcoming elections. It is just his illusion. His portrayal of picture perfect state lacks sincere hands to work. The amount in the state budget has been increased but not many developments were seen in last four years. The treasury of the state has gone bankrupt and he talks as he wishes.
"The state is being ruled by corrupt Siddaramaiah and rape-accused Congress state in-charge Venugopal. We will not allow legislative meetings till K J George resigns. We will see how they can continue with our protest," he said.
Further attacking the Congress-led state government, Yeddyurappa said, "Congress says that there is not a single black dot in their governance. But we know that the party has full of black dots in its body. Denotifications, BBMP scandal, costly watch, laboratory and diary issues are some of them. The government had money to spend to fill BBMP road potholes but not for other good causes.
"If BJP is back to power in the state, I will reopen all the 'clean chit' cases. Around 1,24,655 deaths, 3,102 rape cases, 2,534 murders and 426 kidnapping cases of women have been reported in the last four years of Congress government. I do not know caste politics. I am following Modi's words 'Sabka saath, sab ka vikas'.
"Chief minister Siddaramaiah says that Modi is afraid of him. But CM is still a child in front of PM Modi. I believe Modi is the man who knows the path, walks the path and shows the path. Youths should work for unification of BJP," he said.
Udupi-Chikkamagluru MP Shobha Karandlaje in her address said, “All schemes started by BJP have been stopped today by Congress government. They came to power in state with the propaganda of Ahinda. Many capitalists came to Karnataka with Rs 3,280,00 crore budget of business but have returned after seeing commission-based dealings. Just 7.2% of the amount has been invested in the state. Congress is following divide and rule policy for vote politics by dividing people on caste and religion. It is supporting terrorist organizations like PFI, KFD and SDPI.”
"The CM is controlling the police department through Kempayya. There was a rumour that Pramod Madhwaraj will join BJP. But it is just a rumour to mislead BJP activists. Just four months are remaining for BJP to come to power in state. For that to happen, party workers should work harder at booth level.”
Union minister Sadananda Gowda said, "People of Udupi are independent and nowhere has such a situation come that people have to beg for donation from Pramod Madhwaraj. BJP should come back to power in the state for good governance. Until then, it is difficult to execute Modi’s dream of making Congress-free India.
"Siddaramaiah is pasting his pictures on central government schemes and programmes. The government is looting the rice given to poor. He is like a rat that steals rice," Gowda alleged
Sriramulu said, "People of the nation should unite to achieve Modi’s vision for the nation. Congress is involved in many scandals. Modi is like the sky and CM is trying to climb a ladder to catch up to him."
Throwing open challenge to CM, he said, “If Siddaramaiah has enough guts, let him try to stop Parivartana Yatra. He might have power of money and politics but BJP has people’s support. The chief minister’s target is Uttara Kannada. Let him prove by winning this district. This Yatra will spread like a wave in the ocean."
New calendar 2018 was released on the occasion. A bike rally commenced from Kalsanka and culminated at Chittaranjan circle prior to the programme.
Raghupati Bhat, Uday Kumar Shetty, Sunil Kumar, MLA Karkala, Jayaprakash Hegde, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, Dinakar Shetty Herga, Gurme Suresh Shetty, Baikady Suprasad Shetty, Sheela K Shetty, Sandhya Ramesh, Shyamala Kunder, Raghavendra Kini, Nalini Pradeep Rao, Kuylady Suresh Naik, Akshath Shetty and others were present.
Prathap Hegde Marali welcomed the gathering. K K Hebbar compered the programme.

Udupi, Nov 12: "We are conducting the Parivartana Yatra with the motto of 'equal share and equal living status for people of all the 224 constituencies of Karnataka'. People of the coastal region have to sink the Siddaramaiah government, which is a nightmare to the people of this region, in the Arabian Sea and have to help in blooming the lotus of BJP. Congress government, which is led by corrupt Siddaramaiah and rapist Venugopal, will be discarded by the people because of its own weaknesses. Chief minister is misusing the anti-corruption bureau. We will not rest till we dethrone this devil government."

Yeddyurappa is coming as Rama now in order to drive away the sleeping Kumbakarna Siddaramaiah. Let the process of strengthening him begin from Kaup itself."
