Sullia, Nov 7: At the consultative meeting on ecological sensitive zone at Harihara Pallathadka near Subrahmanya in the taluk on Monday November 6, state forest minister, B Ramanath Rai, and MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, had taken part.
At the meeting, Ramanath Rai provided details of steps undertaken by the state government on the issue. When Nalin Kumar Kateel began to speak and gave details of various steps taken by the central government, Rai suddenly rose from his seat, moved to the mike and began to give clarification. Both of them stood close to each other and spoke simultaneously, which confused the audience.
Sensing that those attending the meeting were disturbed because of this development, the MP stopped talking and returned to his seat after suggesting to Rai to sort out the issues between themselves.
Tahsildar, Ganesh Ashok Nekraje, Dr Raghu, Himmath K C, Harshkumar D S, Nityananda Mundody, M Venkappa Gowda, Harish Kanjipili, Venkat Volalambe, Kiran Budleguthu, wildlife department official, Jaya, forest officers, Jagannath and Tyagaraj etc were present.
