Kannadigas should know to read, write and speak the language, but English is must to understand the world. I will present one instance happened in Mangalore where a MBA graduate who studied her primary education in Kannada medium went for an interview in CA firm. He asked her to write one report in English, there are lot of errors grammatically and rejected by the Interviewer.
