Mangaluru, Oct 29: On the occasion of annual celebration of Surabhi Orchestra Mangaluru, Sudheer Nayak Mumbai and Srinivas Bhagavath Mulky performed harmonium and vocal solos respectively at Dhyan Mandir, Sharada Vidyalaya at Kodialbail in city on Friday, October 27.
The programme was organised under the patronage of 'Kannada Samskruthi Ilake’, Mangaluru.
Narendra L Nayak, Chairman, Expert Group of Educational Institutes inaugurated the programme by lighting lamp. Jagadeesh Shetty, President, Karavali Sangeetha Kalavidara Okkoota was present in dais.
"When someone does anything with hard work then he or she always succeeds in life. Artists always believe in hard work and practice. Music is an art form which never lets any artist to fall in trouble. Music always made people happy and pleasant. We need these types of musical programmes in today’s world. The parents especially the musicians should encourage their children to learn and appreciate music,” said Narendra L Nayak.
In his speech, Jagadeesh Shetty, said, "Music does not have religion and language. Everyone likes it and everyone has sense of music. Surabhi Orchestra made a name today by their sincerity towards the music. By organizing various musical programmes, they have given stage to young and upcoming talents. Same time Srinivas Bhagavath and Sudheer Nayak are the masters in music. We are grateful to the organizers for giving a chance to listen these personalities,"
Siddharth Padiyar, Vignesh Kamath, Prathamesh Prabhu, Hemanth Bhavath, Damodar Bhagavath helped to duo in background score.
