Bengaluru: Shivakumar’s visit to Kumaraswamy causes curiosity in political circles

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, Oct 28: Karnataka minister of energy D K Shivakumar visited former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy at his residence in Bengaluru on Friday, October 27. The visit has aroused curiosity in political circles.

Both the leaders held discussions for about an hour. The leaders are known as political rivals in the past.

Kumaraswamy in a statement after the meeting said that a House Committee has been formed to investigate irregularities in the purchase of electricity during BJP rule.

“The committee will submit its report on October 30. Shivakumar had come to show a draft of the report. I had collected documents relating to the irregularities and submitted them to the committee two months ago. I had also provided them in figures the amount of loss incurred by the government as a result of the deals. The officials have prepared a report including those figures. Shivakumar has invited me to participate in the final meeting,” he said.

Kumaraswamy’s earlier statement which said that minister K J George need not resign after the CBI filed FIR against him and the meeting of him with D K Shivakumar have created curiosity in political circles.

“Shivakumar has suggested me to take care of my health. He has obtained my signature on the draft of House Committee report. We have not discussed any other political matter besides these things,” said Kumaraswamy.

Both are ever ready ministers for CM chair. This is just preparation / ground breaking ceremonies for upcoming elections. Considering present situation results will lead to hung assembly. DKS initiating coalition well in advance to become CM., same time Kumaranna is khiladi # 1, will negotiate for key portfolio. Siddu will be out of the chair because JDS wont support him as CM.
BJP once again will have to pray for Modi magic.

Deekeshi has come to know that Siddu made him " Bali ka Bakra" during Gujarat MLA stay. Now he is exploring all possibilities to save his skin like praising Devegowda and meeting his son Kumaraswamy. Also he has kept his option open by calling tender for coal from abroad which will benefit his opponent party chief's supporter.
