Udupi, Oct 26: "Clandestine efforts are currently being made to split the society on the lines of Ahinda, minority, caste etc. 'Dharma Sansad' being held here from November 24 to 26 has to be driven by the aim of finding political solution to foil such efforts, address lacunae in Hinduism, and achieve the social aim of achieving unity," opined regional president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, MB Puranik.
He was speaking at a programme organized here on Wednesday October 25 for setting the campaign vehicle, 'Sudharma Ratha' connected with Dharma Sansad rolling.
"Dharma Sansad should be able to deliver a strong message to those who criticize Hinduism. The time is now ripe for bringing in political and social transformation. By taking part in the proposed 'Dharma Sansad' in large numbers, Hindus should showcase the power of Hinduism," he stated.
