Beltangady, Oct 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala here on October 29.
PM Modi will participate in the Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) programme to be held in Ujire.
On October 29, he will arrive at Mangaluru International Airport from New Delhi and reach Dharmasthala at around 11 am. He will then offer prayers at Shree Manjunatheshwara Temple and participate in the mega rally of SKDRDP at 11.40 am in Ujire.
He is participating in the SKDRDP programme on the special request of Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade. One lac rural women beneficiaries of PM's financial inclusiveness, including Jan Dhan, and self-help groups are expected to be present during the programme.
After the programme, he will return to Mangaluru from where he will proceed to Bengaluru by special flight. In Bengaluru he will take part in the 'Shree Soundarya Lahari Samarpana' programme to be held at Palace Grounds.
The PM will then proceed to Bidar, where he will dedicate the new Bidar-Kalaburagi railway line to the nation, and then return to New Delhi.
