Mangaluru: A J Institute of Medical Sciences to hold 7th Karnataka State Conference of AOMSI

Mangaluru, Aug 8: The seventh annual Karnataka State Conference of AOMSI will be held at A J Institute of Medical Sciences from August 10 to 12.

This landmark event will be held by Karnataka state chapter of AOMSI under the leadership of Dr B H Sripathi Rao, organising chairman and Dr Manjunath Rai, organising secretary.

The inauguration will take place on August 11 at the auditorium, A J Institute of Medical Sciences. Dr A J Shetty, president, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust and Prashanth Shetty, vice-president, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust will inaugurate the function at 12.00 pm. Dr S Ramananda Shetty, vice chancellorof NITTE University, Dr Y Bharath Shetty, principal, A J Institute of Dental Sciences will be the guests of honor, Dr R S Neelakandan, president of AOMSI India and Dr Gopal Krishna president of Karnataka State chapter, will preside over the function.

The theme of the conference has been chosen as 'Controversies in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery'. This platform is designed with full coverage on the wide spectrum of controversies in our speciality through interactive sessions, panel discussions and debates.

Around 280 post graduates and 120 delegates from various parts of Karnataka and neighbouring states have registered for the conference and will actively participate to gain and share knowledge through the conference. Delegates will actively take part in paper presentation, poster presentation.

The scientific educational forum will bring many renowned international and national speakers together to share their experience and knowledge in front of the maxillofacial community regarding the latest innovations and improvements through educational lectures.
