Udupi: Shivanand Kapasi appointed as ZP CEO

Udupi, Aug 6: The Karnataka government has appointed KAS Officer Shivanand Kapasi as Udupi district Zilla Panchayat (ZP) CEO. He will take charge from August 9.

Shivananda Kapasi (50) hails from Gokak in Belagavi district.

Kapasi has held many posts in the past. He was CEO of KUIDFC earlier in Hubballi.

After earlier deputy commissioner (DC) G Venkatesh was transferred, Priyanka Mary Francis, who was the ZP CEO, was made DC. After that Priyanka managed the position of ZP CEO also till now.
