Mangaluru, Aug 4: Yuva Janata Dal on Thursday August 3 condemned the recent stone pelting incidents at the office of income tax in Mangaluru.
In a letter addressed to the police commissioner, Mangaluru, Akshith Suvarna, district president of Yuva Janata Dal stated that they condemn stone pelting incidents by Dakshina Kannada Congress leaders. In retaliation to recent raids by income tax officials on the house and offices of the minister of energy D K Shivakumar, Congress party workers had vandalized the income tax office in city.
"Throwing stones at income tax office is immoral, uncivilized, unethical and inappropriate incident. Such behaviour should be stopped and legal action should be taken against the guilty. Peace will be disrupted otherwise. The suspects should be identified through video or other reports published in media and newspapers."
"We condemn the harassment and oppression by the union government to further their revenge politics and Hitler rule. Your department should take action to prevent such incidents failing which Janata Dal may have to resort to violent protests," he stated.
